POLICIES & PROCEDURES

PAYMENT TERMS: Net 30 terms are available with an approved credit application. Prepay accounts accepted payment methods: credit card, cashiers or certified company check. Prepayment by company check must be per-approved by credit manager.


CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. All credit card charges of $5000 or more will include a 3% sur-charge. For your protection a copy of the front and back of the credit card must be supplied. As an added protection, we do not keep credit card numbers on file.


RETURNED CHECKS: A returned check is subject to a $25.00 charge for each attempt to clear.


BLANK GOODS: 2 dozen minimum on all products. Order must be in even dozen increments per color/per style after minimum is met. All merchandise must be inspected for defects, as well as correct style and color before merchandise is decorated. Customer decorated merchandise may not be returned.


CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES: All cancellations and/or changes in orders must be in writing to HTT. Canceled or refused orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus applicable freight charges.


RETURN AUTHORIZATIONS: Returns will not be accepted by HTT unless accompanied with a valid return authorization (RA) number. Return authorizations will not be issued on product that is more than 30 days old. Authorized returns must be returned in original packaging and in the same condition it was originally shipped. Authorized returns must be accompanied by a packing list and authorization number. The authorization number needs to be clearly marked on the outside of the carton. Authorized returns
must arrive to our warehouse within 30 days from the date of authorization. Claims for damaged goods, shortages, etc., must be made within 15 days from receipt of order. Authorized returns that are a result of customer order error are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus freight charges. All sales on closeout styles are final-No returns.


CLAIMS: Claims for any discrepancies must be made within 15 days of receipt of order.


DISCLAIMERS: Due to uncontrollable circumstances, HTT cannot guarantee variances in color, shade, texture, size and construction of finished goods. We reserve the right to change, correct, or improve goods without prior notice. No adjustments or claims will be processed regarding these variances. HTT’s acceptance of your purchase order constitutes an agreement based solely on HTT’s terms and conditions, regardless of the terms and conditions outlined in your purchase order. HTT is not liable for delays regarding customs, quota, and steamship delays. All confirmations must be marked “confirmations only” if they are not marked in this manner the liability of duplications is the customer’s responsibility.


DROP SHIPMENTS: $5.00 net per location. If a master carton must be split, a $10 per box fee applies. Out of state customers having HTT drop ship product to California businesses will need to complete a California resale form or you will be taxed as follows: sale price of the order, plus 10% mark-up, plus the current tax rate.


EMBLEMS: Quotes required on all metal emblems. For Heat-Sealed emblems add $0.90 per emblem. For sewing emblems add $0.90 per emblem (dimension limitations listed above apply). HTT is not responsible for emblem damage due to adhesive problems.


MOLD CHARGES: A minimum charge of $50.00 applies to all molds.


EMBROIDERY: Color separated art is not acceptable for embroidery. Minimum letter height is ¼” inch. All stitch counts are estimated and can only be determined after a tape is punched. When a new tape is punched, a sew out or sample will be made available to the customer. Duplicate tape charges are $20.00 net. Customer supplied tapes are accepted when accompanied by a run sheet with thread sequence listed. HTT will not be responsible for the integrity of the tape. Any changes in decorated orders are subject
to a $35.00 edit charge. If a tape requires more than a 50% edit a new tape will have to be made. Minimum tape charge is $50.00 (5K stitches).


EMBROIDERY MINIMUMS: Minimum for embroidered goods is 72 pieces for headwear and 72 pieces for shirts. For less than minimum, there is a charge of $75.00 net. NOTE: HTT decorates HTT product only.


PRINTING AREA SIZES:
1) Silk screen (5-panel caps only) and Heat Transfers: a. Most styles: 2-1/4” X 4-1/2” b. 1340 visor and military caps: 1-1/4“ X 3-1/2”
2) Direct Embroidery: a. Most styles: 2-1/4” X 4-1/2” b. 1340 visor and military caps: 1-1/4” X 3-1/2”


PAPER PROOFS & SEW OUTS: Paper proofs are available via fax. HTT cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracy in paper proofs. One sew out is available upon request at no charge. Additional sew outs are $5.00 per sew out.


PMS COLOR MATCH: Special Pantone colors will be matched as close as possible at an additional charge of $25 (u) per color each time an order is placed for Heat Transfers. HTT cannot be held responsible for exact matching. PMS match for embroidery is available, however, colors are only matched as close as possible to factory threads.


SCREEN PRINTING: Call for quote.


F.O.B.: Murrieta, California.


FREIGHT: Freight carriers used are UPS, Fed Ex, and Common Carriers. HTT will ship Parcel Post, however we will not be responsible for lost or delayed shipments. Filing claims will be the responsibility of the customer on all Parcel Post shipments. On air shipments dimensional weight applies. For shipments sent to a residence, additional fees apply. If we are not notified the address is residential at the time of the order, an additional fee will apply.


OVERRUNS AND UNDER RUNS: Factory reserves the right to ship and bill over or under the exact quantity ordered by 5% per size. Normally exact quantities will be shipped. If exact quantity is required, the purchase order must be marked “exact quantity”. A 10% overrun is acceptable on all orders requiring exact quantity.


PACKAGING: Caps are boxed in 2 dozen inner cartons, 12 dozen master cartons. Most shirts are 24 to a box. Orders shipped via Air from overseas may be consolidated and the number of caps per box may vary CUSTOM CAP AND SHIRT SAMPLES: Custom samples will be billed at 3x cost plus freight. Sample cost will be waived upon production order.


SAMPLE KITS: Custom sample kits (12 caps) are available at a cost of $25 (x) per kit. Shirt sample kits (8 shirts) are available at a cost of $29 (x) per kit. Samples with customer’s registered trademarks, logos and diagrams are for demonstration only and not available for sale
